The non hunters can enjoy:
  • guided game drives - Morning, afternoon and evening drives in open top safari vehicles, conducted by qualified guides, conversant with the wildlife, birdlife and the trees of Zambia.). The Reserve has more than 72 species of wildlife, a combination of mammals, reptiles and amphibians. 
  • guided bush walks - Interpretative Bush Walks, where in addition to the Wildlife and the Birds you can learn about the vegetation and the medicinal values of our plants and trees as they are used locally
  • cheetah experience - In the stunningly beautiful setting on this renowned nature reserve, you will interact with the fastest land mammal on earth! The cheetah have a lovely nature that allows you to get up-close and personal but at the same time leaves you with the impression of being honoured to be with this highly endangered predator. If you come for the afternoon activity you get the added bonus of witnessing just how fast the cheetah really is when they run on a lure. Make sure you have the cameras ready, as you blink and you have missed it! PLEASE NOTE: Extra charges apply.
  • fishing & boating - The lakes are stocked with four varieties of Bream, Catfish and Nchenga (akin to whitebait). You can fish from the banks or from the floating pontoon. Sunsets are spectacular from the lake.

  • Day trip to Lusaka -  The visit provides a comprehensive view of the way of life a Lusaka, a typical African Capital City and covers the main historical, government and cultural sites including the main markets. (Charged separately depending on the number of participants).
  • Art Tour - Tour of the Lodge Art Collection. You can marvel at the art and by special arrangement you can meet many of the artists in person. They can share their experiences with you and explain what motivates and inspires them .
  • Visit to KASISI CHILDREN'S HOME - It is run by highly dedicated Catholic nuns and provides shelter for children of various ages whose parents died of AIDS. Chaminuka does not charge for this tour but will appreciate any donations made to the Kasisi orphanage, either directly or through the Front Office.
